‘Riviera Mindelo’ soon in São Vicente

Impressive construction project to boost tourism growth

To promote tourism growth at an international level, the State of Cape Verde has recently agreed the construction of a fine marina, an international golf course as well as other exclusive sport and leisure facilities in São Vicente.

The project, called ‘Riviera Mindelo’, aims to turn the Cape Verdean island into a luxury tourism destination.

The project implies an investment of 1.200m of euros and it is split in three phases over 12 years.

The new marina will host up to 300 private yachts.

In addition to that, there will be an international business centre, upmarket hotels, luxury villas and commercial areas.

The project is meant to accelerate the development of national economy and particularly tourism.
